Rwandan coffees bring a sweet, red fruitiness with rich cocoa and smooth nutty notes - all the great elements of a solid blend, right? We've paired this with the creamy body and subtle acidity of neighbouring Ugandan coffee to bring you this season's new Pard blend.

We've teamed up with Raw Material once more to deliver you the fruits of the labours of some 470 Rwandan producers, a quarter of whom are female. The Nyamasheke-based Cyesha washing station seeks not only to introduce producers to new markets and increase their yield but also improve quality and practices with measures such as redistributing organic, nutrient-dense compost from the discarded pulp from the processing of cherries to boost soil health and plant nutrition. 

Over to Uganda, our friends at Omwani have been working tirelessly for over a decade to help elevate Uganda's speciality Arabica production status on the map. The jammy lot we've chosen to add depth and bring the sauce to this latest version of Pard comes from the Mountains of the Moon (that sealed the deal for Chloe). With the help of Johnny and James from Omwani, this region, at the source of the River Nile, has welcomed the help of Agri-Evolve, a profit-for-purpose who have successfully implemented modern practices and established processing centres for producers to gather and earn a a reliable income, on time. We're excited to bring this new origin onto the roster and hope you enjoy the buttery finish it brings to the blend.
